Chenxing Z. Ferensen

Chief Financial Officer

Chenxing Z. Ferensen, CFA, ACCA is chief financial officer (CFO) at The Roxborough Group, with responsibility for the firm’s internal controls, financial operations, investor reporting, tax, treasury and fund financing. She also oversees human resources, information technology and serves as chief compliance officer. Prior to Roxborough, Ms. Ferensen was CFO at Coastland Capital, an SEC registered investment adviser, where she supervised the fund operations, all aspects of the finance and accounting function, and compliance for the firm, which managed over $1 billion across several hedge funds. Ms. Ferensen previously worked with hedge funds, private equity funds and funds of funds, as an accounting manager at Apex Fund Services and, subsequently, at Hall Capital Partners in its pooled vehicles administration group, where she was responsible for financial reporting and operations of funds.

Ms. Ferensen is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and a chartered certified accountant (ACCA). She holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Fudan University, a bachelor’s degree in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a master’s degree in financial economics from BI Norwegian School of Management.
